Recently, we announced a fantastic partnership between Pendle Sportswear and Poppies4Kits. The idea was to create a giveaway that would see three lucky teams walk away with a printed team kit each. Find out more about the giveaway below and get to know our new partner.
Who are Poppies4Kits?
The company was founded in 2014 with the hope of helping players wear poppies on the pitch. The aim was to also raise funds for The Royal British Legion and highlight the poppy’s significance. Thanks to the power of social media, the company grew from a local concept to gaining national interest. This meant that, in 2015, they became Corporate Partners of The Royal British Legion and have continued to raise funds every year.
What do they sell?
The company has brought poppies to football pitches through a range of woven adhesive poppies, corner flags, and armbands. Poppies4Kits is the sole official supplier of these woven self-adhesive poppies and they’re ideal for grassroots clubs at every level. They’re quick to apply, easy to remove and they won’t damage your kit.

How it works?
The self-adhesive poppies are a great way for clubs to commemorate Remembrance Day without having to buy a new kit. You can apply the woven sticker patches to almost anything, so you can attach them to your kits or training wear. It’s really simple to do and the stickers are easy to remove.
- Peel off the backing paper.
- Stick the poppy to your kit (or other item).
- Play your match.
- Remove the poppy before washing.
It’s really that simple. All you need to do now is decide where you want to put them. Stick them to your football shirts and wear them on the pitch or add them to your training tops. You can even put them on your kit bags.
How much have they raised?
To date, the company has raised over £250,000 for the Royal British Legion thanks to the generous donations and support from clubs and individuals. In their first year, Poppies4Kits donated £18,976.49 to the Norfolk branch and has continued to raise an impressive amount of money since then. 2023 saw them raise their highest amount ever with a donation of £35,986.80. Hopefully, they can raise even more in 2024.
The Giveaway
The giveaway started in August and will run until November. There’ll be 6 winners over 3 months and 3 full kits given away. Every month, we’ll give a free printed kit to one of the teams who orders from Poppies4Kits. A second team will also win a Pendle footballs package that includes 2 match balls and 8 training balls. Want to be in with a chance? Head to their site and place an order. They’ll automatically add you to the draw.
Poppies4Kits has already picked the first winner from all customers who placed an order between 1st April and 31st August. They announced it on their Twitter early this month. They’ll announce the next winner in October and the final winner in November.
How do they select the winner?
They’ll select one order number at random from the selection of completed orders. Poppies4Kits will contact the lucky winner and put them in contact with us. We’ll then work with the team to fulfill their order. There’s no limit to the number of entries you can have and you don’t need to spend a specific amount. Poppies4Kits will select one order number at random.

The Kits
The winner can pick from our full range of football kits to find the best fit for their team. The kits will feature the Poppies4Kits logo as the front sponsor and include the club badge and numbers. You won’t be able to add any other sponsor to your kit.
Rules For Entry
- All orders placed & paid for will be entered into the draw (regardless of size)
- The main and only sponsor will be Poppies4Kits. They don’t permit other sponsor logos.
- You must enter your club at checkout to be eligible for the competition.
- Poppies4Kits reserves the right to publish photos of the finished kit on our social media channels.
- Poppies4Kits will draw the winners at the beginning of the following month, no other prize alternatives will be offered.
- We reserve the right to amend or cancel this promotion at any time.
